My name is Meghan and I am excited to meet you and your family!
I have been passionate about photography since my childhood. As a young girl, I inherited my own mother’s passion for telling our family’s story through pictures. I carried my own camera everywhere, and loved to document my daily life (think pictures of our mailbox, current garden, etc.) My photography as a child was pure, innocent, and uninhibited. I found simple beauty everywhere and wanted to remember it.
Fast forward 25 years, and my style really hasn’t changed much, albeit becoming more technically sophisticated. I still love to find beauty in the simple details of my own life and in the lives of other families. I love to create classic images that capture the essence of family, using lovely light and vibrant color. And I love to tell a story in a modern, photo-journalistic kind of way, although I admit that I am a sucker for the “posed-all-smiling-and-looking-at-the-camera” family picture. After all, I am a mom myself who understands that you want that *one* good picture of your kids.
I currently live in Orange County, CA with my handsome, hard-working hubby and two beautiful daughters. I am indeed blessed.
